Green burial prices at Westall Park

At Westall Park we have two main burial options to choose from for a natural, green burial:

Graves

One burial only although side by side graves can be reserved. Wooden, wicker or cardboard coffins are equally welcome.

Burial of Cremated Remains

A plot of one square metre will accommodate four interments, while a half metre square (50cm x 50cm) plot will allow for one interment. Ashes can be interred either loose or in a biodegradable casket.

Unlike a conventional cemetery, there are no leases for interment at Westall Park. Exclusive rights for interment are granted without limit as to time. To help you choose an area of remembrance we would strongly recommend you come and visit the park where you can come and discuss with us any particular requirements you may have. You can make arrangements either directly with us or through your funeral director.

Memorials

We offer the option to have a Sandstone effect plaque laid flat at ground level to mark a plot. They are attached to a heavy slab, fixing the plaque in position. We guarantee the plaques for five years against abnormal wear but they should last for a very long time.

We have found these plaques to be much more durable than our previous wooden plaques and their design allows us to maintain the park much more efficiently. If you have an old wooden plaque already in the park we offer a renewal service to update to our Sandstone effect plaque for £120.

Pre-Payment

For those who may wish to plan prudently for their own or their loved ones final resting place, interment sites may be pre-purchased either as individual or multiple plots (each plot is positioned using a GPS mapping system enabling
grave positions to be located in years to come).

Payment of fees

Fees for all burials may be paid to your funeral director or you are welcome to deal direct with us.
